Azo dyes, forming on the material.-Orange to red shades are obtained by diazotizing and developing with #-naphthol, cotton dyed with the disazo dyes produced by combining tetrazotized m-tolidine or m-dichlorbenzidine with two molecules of a 1-aminophenyl-5-pyrazolone-3- carboxylic acid, or the corresponding 1-nitrophenyl-5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid; with subsequent reduction.
