Belts. - A driving- belt suitable for motorcycles &c comprises a main portion c of rubber and a core of intertwined wire coils a embedded in rubber, balata, or the like, and having their axes arranged longitudinally in the direction of the belt. The core may be enclosed in a canvas cover b. Two or more cores may be employed, or a single core may be formed of two or more strips or layers as shown. The core may be reinforced or strengthened at the belt ends to hold effectively connecting-unions or fasteners.
