1090. Rogers, J. E. Jan. 16. Belts.-A driving-belt is constructed of a chain core, preferably of C links A, over and into which is moulded a covering of rubber to the cross-sectional shape required. The rubber is then vulcanized. In connecting the ends of the belt, the rubber is cleared from the connecting-links over which rubber rings C are finally rolled to fill up the gap.
