Brush-holders; dynamos, regulating. - A brush-rocking apparatus for dynamo-electric machines for automatically reversing the polarity of the machine when its direction of rotation is reversed, comprises two conducting- rings b<1>, c<1> connected to the two brushes or sets of brushes and rotatable with respect to two fixed conducting-rings b, c in electrical connexion with the rotatable rings. The studs f<1> connecting the brushes to the ring b<1> pass through insulating-collars c‹ in the ring c'. Similarly, the terminal stud g connected to the fixed ring c is insulated from the ring b. The rings b<1>, c<1> may be arranged at the side of the fixed rings b, c.
