Abstract

Dynamos, regulating.-Relates to reversible dynamo-electric machines, and particularly to the dynamos of railway trains, &c., provided with radial conductors m for conveying the current from the main brushes b<1>, b<3> to central contacts o, o<1> as described in Specification 114,021, and comprises the combination therewith, in selfregulating dynamos wherein the field winding is connected to subsidiary brushes, of contacts b<3>, b<10> upon the subsidiary brushes which are adapted to make connexion with fixed contacts b<9>, b<11> in the two extreme positions of the brush rocker d. The contact b<11> is placed farther from the centre than the contact b<9> to allow the passage by them of the contacts b<8>, b<10> respectively when the dynamo is reversed.
