Abstract
19,025. Rees, E. S. G. Aug. 20. Separators for gaseous substances.-In centrifugal Sprengel pumps with a vertically disposed shaft, the mixed liquid and gas, which may be produced by apparatus as described in Specifications 4810/06, 27,615/06, [both in Class 102, Pumps &c.], and 15,084/09, 21,555/09, 2731/11, and 27,471/11, [all in Class 110 (i), Centrifugal and screw fans &c.], and 29,357/10, is projected against a fixed wall or baffle n. The liquid clings to and passes over the wall n, and the gas collects above the liquid.
