Shallow - overhung - blade centrifugal fans; standards.- A centrifugal - fan suitable for table use comprises an impeller C driven by an electric motor B, a standard A, and a deflector G carried by columns H. The spindle b is supported in a bearing in a bracket D. A bracket E carries a vase K. The deflector G and standard A are preferably composed of porcelain, china or delf, and the columns H of metal. The impeller C draws in air through the opening in the top and through openings in the standard. It is preferably of the type described in Specification 11,591/08, [Class 8, Air and gases, Compressing &c.], but has flatter blades. Electric lamps J are hung from the deflector.
