[Published under Section 91 of the Act.] Moving - chamber apparatus.-Consists of a hollow rotary plug valve 8 divided into two measuring - chambers 9, 10, each provided with a port 12, 13 respectively, adapted to be brought opposite ports 6, 7 at the ends of liquid supply and discharge pipes 18, 19, so that one chamber may fill while the other empties. The plug is provided with a washer 16 bearing against packing - material 15, the whole being held in place by a cover 17. An external handle 20 is secured to the plug, and a ratchet-operated counter may be added.
