3963. Bloxam, A. G., [Bosch, R., (Firm of)]. Feb. 16. Starting; turning-gear.-In a starting system in which an auxiliary magneto is provided, the magneto is coupled to the engine-turning handle. The magneto may also be driven by hand. A flexible shaft in gear with the starting - crank drives a clutch member 17 which engages a clutch member 18 longitudinally adjustable on a shaft 19 carrying a pinion 20 for driving the magneto armature. The shaft 19 may be rotated also by a handle 15. The clutch members 17, 18 are pressed together by a spring 23, the end of which bears against the handle 15.
