[Addition to 20,699/11.] Projectile fuses.-Relates to time fuses for shells provided with a smoke-producing charge ignited by the time fuse a given time before the explosive charge as described in the parent Specification, and consists in the provision of two flash passages. The base m<2> of the fuse has a straight passage m<5>, Fig. 1, leading to the smoke-producing charge E, and a slanting passage m<7>, Fig. 3, leading to the central fuse D for the base explosive charge, both passages opening under the time ring K at a given interval, Fig. 2, so that the flash from the ring K first reaches the passage m<5> and then the passage m<7>, after the desired interval of time.
