Blasting detonators.-Relates to detonators charged with a nitro-compound band a covering-layer c of fulminate of mercury, lead azide, nitrodiazobenzenc perchlorate, hexamethylenetriperoxidediamine, or other cap composition, and consists in covering the charge with an imperforate disk d and transmitting detonation therethrough either by a priming-composition e, Fig. 1, covered by a perforated disk f, or by a small detonator g, Fig. 2, which may be ignited by a fuse h.
