Locking nuts.-In a nut-locking device of the type comprising an outer locking-nut with a tapered part to jam the main nut on the bolt, the main nut has a slotted extension 13, Fig. 3, and a threaded part 12 which is not slotted. The locking-nut 14, Fig. 1, which is screwed on to the part 12, has an internally tapered sleeve 15, which is drawn over the extension 13 and jams it on the bolt.
