Sliding-jaw wrenches; handles.-The handles of wrenches are formed integrally with, or rigidly secured to, the adjusting-nut and are arranged at right-angles with the screwed shank, the nut and shank being preferably formed with interrupted threads for rapid adjustment. In the example shown in Fig. 1 the nut D carrying the handle G is fitted within a recess or slot in the jaw B, and a spring washer may be fitted between this jaw and the nut. According to the Provisional Specifications the handle may be carried by the nut in alinement with the screwed shank.
