Bed-rests.-A spring mattress of ordinary construction, having a rectangular supporting- frame independent of the bed frame, is provided at either the foot or the head end, or at both, with an adjustable rest comprising plaited or woven wire mounted on a suitable framework, so arranged that, when not in use, it can be folded down to lie approximately in the same plane as the mattress itself.
