Bedsteads ; chairs. -A chair convertible into a bed has an upholstered seat B divided horizontally and hinged at the front, so that it may be turned over to bring the arms A to bear on the floor. The back C is hinged to the rear of the seat, and is adapted to turn down and rest on a folding strut D or struts. A roll E of upholstery is hinged to the back and can be turned up to form a pillow when the article is used as a bed. When the article is in use as a chair, the arms and back are held together by catches.
