Abstract

Pressure - regulating valves. - In pressureregulating valves of the kind in which the movement of the main valve G operatively connected to a piston I is controlled through the intermediary of a a spring-loaded or like pilot valve, the main valve has an extension C which moves in a pocket B closed at the lower end and forming thereby a dash-pot. A screwed spindle T in the cover U arranged in axial alinement with the main valve spindle E is provided with an enlargement V adapted to form a fluid - tight joint with the cover. By rotating the spindle, it may be used positively to open the valve. The auxiliary valve is provided with an extension which serves as a piston, and on the underside of which the pressure fluid is always allowed to act.
