Abstract

29,397. Poindexter, A. M. Dec. 17. Razors, safety. The guard 11 is provided with teeth 1, 1<1> of graduated length, the blade 2 being held thereon with its edges oblique to the edges of the guard and parallel with the base of the teeth, so that a shearing cut is obtained. The blade is clamped on the guard by a cover-plate 3 secured by a screw 6 passing within the handle 5 and engaging a pin on the plate 3. The handle is preferably square in cross-section.
