Abstract

The invention relates to a mechanical razor head with a blade making it possible to cut the hairs in a so-called "guillotine" movement. It consists of a support 1 having, on the top, the hollow recess for the blade 2. A cover 3, capping the whole unit, includes, on the bottom, four secure-fastening studs 6 which will be riveted after having passed through the blade and support via the holes 4 made for this purpose. The recess in the support has been made so that the cutting edge of the blade forms, after mounting, an angle of the order of 10 DEG with the long side of the razor. The razor head according to the invention particularly makes it possible to eliminate the skin irritation known as "shaving rash".
