14,217. Willis, J., and Brown, P. D. June 13. Burglar alarms. -An alarm circuit is closed when a window pane is pressed. Each pane of glass is mounted in a removable frame k which slides in the sash and is held forward by springs f, g. When the pane is pressed, levers pivoted at y, z are rocked and close the alarm circuit at p. A n independent circuit is controlled in a similar manner by the upper pane. The batteries are situated removably in the sashframe. Shop-front windows of straight or bent glass may be suspended in a frame capable of moving under pressure to close an alarm circuit.
