Casements; hinged sliding windows.-An inwardly-opening casement window b, the lower rail of which is rabbeted to engage the rabbeted sill of the frame a, and which must be raised, before opening, to clear the sill, is hinged to a vertical sliding bar c guided in a recess d in the frame by screws e passing through slots in the bar. Weather strips f are mounted around the ontside of the frame. The invention is stated to be applicable to 'hinged-sliding windows as described in Specification 25,071/08.
