Abstract
11,049. Houdaille, M. Oct. 12, 1909, [Convention date]. [Addition to 9193/10.] Dash-pots. - Consists of modifications in dashpots of the type described in the parent Specification. The apparatus is described with reference to a motorvehicle to the back axle of which it may be applied. One improvement consists in having two independent paddles or sets of paddles 6, 7, separately connected by cranks and connecting- rods to the opposite points of a differential casing. The conduits 29 are made tapered at one end for progressive braking and are pierced by projections 48 on the partitions. The arrangements for hand adjustment are similar to those described in Specification 9212/10.
