Abstract
8702. Salisbury, L. E. April 11. Stop-motions, weft.-The loom described in Specification 1946/03 is fitted with a device controlled by the " shuttle," which stops the loom, if the shutle is not properly charged with weft, or if the weft is not properly discharged from the shuttle. In either case, the shuttle passes from the warps with some of its arms j<5>, Fig. 3, in their inward positions, and these arms act through a trip e, Fig. 4, and lever i to raise a rod f out of a notch n in a bar c, which is then moved by a weight to shift the driving-belt and stop the loom.
