L o o m shuttles, changing bobbins &c. in, automatically.-In bobbinchanging mechanism, the trip or dagger 13, Fig. 1, connected with the transferrer arm 10 is provided with a device which yields on the engagement of the bunter 9 therewith, in case the bobbin is prevented from entering the shuttle or there is any obstruction to the movement of the transferrer. A plate or bar with a bevelled inner end 13<2> is adjustably secured to the dagger 13 by a set-screw 18, Fig. 5, and a bolt 19, and a spring-pressed pin 20 with a bevelled or wedge-shaped end 20<1> is carried in the boss 13a of the plate. The direction of movement of the bunter is in a line passing above the pivot 15 of the dagger, so that if the transferrer arm and the dagger cannot complete their movements, the pin 20 is pushed back to let the bunter pass by it, and the dagger drops to its lowered or inoperative position.
