Abstract
13,609. Crompton, L. June 2. Loom stop-motions.-When the shuttle C fails to enter the shuttle box, it presses the reed B and pushes back the reed-case P, which is mounted upon a rod I carried by the lay A. This raises an arm H into position for acting upon the setting-on rod R and stopping the loom. The arm H is held in its two positions by a spring N acting upon a cranked rod G, which is mounted upon brackets U on the lay, and passes through a slot K in the arm. S is the ordinary duck-bill.
