Breech actions, movable - barrel other than drop - down; breech actions, sliding barrel and breech-block; breech actions, sliding breechblock.-Relates to magazine pistols having the cartridge magazine in the handle, and consists in providing two cartridge holders, one behind the other. In the construction shown in Fig. 1, the front holder 4 is in the operative position, and, when empty, is removed from the bottom, the auxiliary holder 5 being then slipped forward into its place, where it is held by lugs 6 at the top, shoulders 10 on the lower edges of the handle, and a spring catch 8.
