Reversible seats.-A reversible seat, in which the seat is tilted as the back is moved over, has the seat a carried by curved plates b, which are supported by rollers, studs, or tianges on the framework and provided with projecting teeth c adapted to engage a toothed quadrant n operated by a telescopic lever pivoted to the back and mounted on a rod g pivoted in the framework. The back k, which extends below the seat, is provided with a foot r adapted to support a footboard v and having rollers s engaging a curved guide u. In a modification, a rigid link having a pin-and-slot connexion with the back is substituted for the telescopic lever. In another modification, a pin-and-slot mechanism is substituted for the toothed gear c, n. In a further modification, the seat is supported by pins moving in curved slots in the framework.
