Abstract

18,198. Soc. Anon. " Le Ferro-Nickel." Aug. 29, 1908, [Convention date]. Alloys.-Aluminium alloys contain from 94 to 98 per cent of aluminium, from 1À5 to 4 per cent of copper, from 25 to 1À25 per cent of manganese, and from À25 to 1À25 per cent of silver. Two alloys are referred to in which the metals other than aluminium amount to 3À5 and 4À5 per cent respectively. Specified alloys contain (1) 96À5 per cent of aluminium, 1À875 per cent of copper, À625 per cent of manganese, and 1 per cent of silver; and (2) 95À5 per cent of aluminium, 3À5 per cent of copper, À5 per cent of manganese, and À5 per cent of silver.
