Abstract
19,281. Hofmann, J. A. Sept. 13, 1907, [date applied for under Section 91 of Patents &c. Act, 1907]. Building - blocks. -In reinforced brickwork, grooved and perforated blocks, Fig. 4, are united by vertical rods 5, Fig. 2, which are bonded by ties 6, 7. Piers or columns enclose a space 9 containing a cruciform metal column 10, the edges of which engage grooves in the blocks. The hollow piers may be used as chimneys.
