Circular knitting- machines.-An adjustable thread - guide and latchopener 9 for use with rib machines is fixed on an horizontal arm or plate 10, arranged in a U- shaped frame 5 pivoted to a vertical arm 3, which slides and can be adjustablyfixed in a bracket 2 mounted on the cam-cylinder. The frame 5 and the plate 10 are held in adjusted positions by pin-and-slot connexions. The latchopener 9 is shield-shaped and curved to the curvature of the needle-cylinder, and is provided with bevelled side edges and an over-hanging top portion.
