Abstract

20,380. Coles, S. O. Cowper-. Sept. 13. Copper, depositing.-In order to improve the quality of electro-deposited copper, a small proportion of aluminium sulphate is added to the electrolyte. According to an example, a solution is employed containing 12 per cent of copper sulphate, 12 per cent of sulphuric acid, and 1 per cent of aluminium sulphate, at a temperature of 65‹ C.
