21,275. Allsop, R. O. Oct. 4. Gas or explosive-vapour engines. - Four-trokecycle engines using heavy oil comprise two motor cylinders A. B with a pump G between them. The pump is constructed as described in Specification No. 21,587, A.D. 1903, its clearance space 6 being heated by an exhaust jacket 9 and acting as a carburetter in which a rich incombustible mixture of paraffin and air is formed. The pump charges in succession each cylinder during its suction stroke with an adjustable quantity of mixture, the supplementary supply of air being drawn in through a separate valve.
