Rails, securing to sleepers.-The rail A rests on a shoe angle or plate C, R and is secured by clips D, W resting on the rail flange and plate flange R, respectively, and fastened by bolts E. The heads of the bolts bear against a plate X placed under the sleeper B.. The clips have elongated bolt holes to enable the rail or parts to be adjusted. The shoe angle C is provided with a hook U, which engages a correspondingly shaped hook V formed on the clip W.
