Abstract

Rails, securing to sleepers; sleepers. - I-shaped sleepers have shoulders b, formed on the top flange and facing in the same direction, on which the rail is seated. A clip d, used to clamp the rails, engages the shoulder b and is secured by clinched wedges e passing through both sleeper-flanges. The sleeper is easily removed by merely displacing the clips d.
