Water-tube boilers.-In a boiler having transverse drums 13 - - 16 so connected as to maintain a. water circulation through the tube-banks 20, 21, 22, and a supplemental circulation through the drum 16 from which the steam is taken, as described in the parent Specification, the water in the supplemental circulation flows through two oppositely inclined tubes or groups of tubes 26, 27, connecting the drum 16 with the steam drum 15. The tubes may have upwardly curved ends, or they may be straight throughout their lengths.
