Abstract

189,281. Veulle, F. H. de. May 26, 1922. Spray carburettors. - In fuel feed systems wherein air is supplied under pressure to the carburettor by the forward movement of the vehicle on which the carburettor is mounted, and in which the air intake is connected to the fuel supply tank and to the float chamber, the air intake is in the form of a box H of relatively large capacity provided with a scoop C facing the direction of motion. The box is connected by pipes D, F with the fuel tank E and with the float chamber G of the carburrettor A, which is connected with the engine at B. The box minimizes fluctuations of pressure and ensures regularity in the flow of fuel.
