188,171. Fischer, M. Oct. 12, 1921. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Differential gearing for motor vehicles comprises balls 8, or other rolling bodies such as conical rollers, carried in holes in the driving member 9 and rolling between discs 6, 7 respectively fixed to the road wheels 2, 1. The axle 3 of the wheel 1 passes through a sleeve 5 fixed to the wheel 2, and a nut 11 on the axle, acting through a thrust bearing 10, adjusts the pressure between the two discs. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 27542/12 and 515/13.
