Abstract

329,363. Knox, W. Sept.. 24, 1929. Axle structures.-The steering pivots 12 of a driving and steering road wheel are mounted in arms 14 bolted to an extension 15 of the axle casing 16. Shims 25 are provided so that the correct position of the steering pivot 12 may be obtained without machining. The driving shaft 1 rotates in bearings 18 in the axle casing.
