Abstract

168,280. Coney, J., and Lewis Trust, Ltd. Oct. 4, 1920. Slipping-preventing attachments to wheels.- In tractor wheels having radial arms protruded through the rim by an eccentric as the wheel revolves, the arms are pressed against the eccentric by springs, and the eccentric is mounted upon a spindle having squared ends so that it can be easily adjusted. The arms 2, Fig. 3, are pressed by springs 7 against an eccentric 9 mounted on a spindle 10 housed in the hollow shaft 11, Fig. 2. The spindle 10 is provided with squared ends 13 by which it may be rotated to bring the eccentric into inoperative position.
