Equalizing load on wheels; springs, arrangement of; wheels and axles, arrangement of.-A vehicle has wheels G, G<1> mounted on cranks F', F<2> offset in opposite directions from an axle F pivoted in a bearing carried by a spring C, a similar axle being arranged on the other side of the vehicle and in alinement with the axle F. The outer wheels G on the two sides of the vehicle are driven from sprockets J on a differential shaft K, and the inner wheels G<1> near the centre line of the vehicle are driven from sprockets J<1> which need not be differentially driven. The bearing for the axle F is supported above the centre of the spring C by plates E.
