Fluids, regulating volume of flow or pressure of. - A pressureregulating device particularly applicable for use with gas calorimeters of the kind described in Specifications 132,573. 183,408, and 183,409, [all in Class 97 (iii), Thermometers &c.], and 181,756, [Class 110 (i), Centrifugal and screw fans &c.], comprises a conduit 35 provided with a constriction 38 and with a branch pipe 39 affording open communication between the interior of said conduit and a region where given pressure conditions obtain. The gas issuing from the pipe 39 may be ignited.
