Abstract
165,194. Fisher, S. March 20, 1920. Measuring-apparatus. - In apparatus for indicating and measuring liquid flow through pipes, the spindle D, Fig. 3, of the vane E is controlled by an adjustable spring F, passes through a gland B and actuates indicating mechanism. The spindle is preferably mounted to one side of the axis of the pipe, and may be carried in a coupling Q, Fig. 6, joining two pipe lengths of smaller cross-section. The indicator may, in certain positions, close an electric circuit to give an alarm or to actuate a governor to vary the flow.
