Abstract

183,367. Moore, A. A. Aug. 11, 1921. Work-holders.-A lathe or like centre, capable of adjustment for grinding tapered articles, comprises a saddle F carrying a conical centre D and adjustable on a V-slide G by means of a screw C, axially fixed bv a plate E on the saddle. The slide G is provided with a hollow cylindrical extension to receive a headstock spindle, locking being effected by a saddle-shaped bolt B and nut J. A locking-bolt is also provided for securing the saddle in its adjusted position. Specification 22977/00, [Class 83, Metals, Cutting &c.], is referred to.
