Turning. - A swivel and elevating tool-post for lathes &c. comprises a cylindrical body A screwed externally so as to be expansible under the action of an internal cone E and nut F to grip the holder. The tool is adjusted vertically by releasing the cone and rotating the body relatively to the holder by means of a knurled flange G.
