Pressure a n d vacuum gauges, mounting - details for. - Relates to fl u i d - pressure gauges for use with autoclaves and like chambers the contents of which would have an injurious effect on the gauge parts, and consists in transmitting the pressure to the gauge through a liquid sea! of particular construction. The gauge 16 is fitted with a tube 24 which dips into a liquid such as oil contained in a vessel 18 held in an outer tube 17, and having holes 21 at the top to admit the pressure to the surface of the liquid when the outer tube is put into communication with the interior of the autoclave. The gauge itself may be filled with the liquid.
