Abstract

202,293. Schneider et Cie. Aug. 12, 1922, [Convention date]. Submarine vessels.- In ballast tanks for submarine vessels which are emptied by air under pressure discharged through the pipe e, the ballast water being expelled by way of the valve C, the water ballast lying below the valve C is discharged, after that valve has been closed, through the pipe F the lower end of which extends to the lowest point of the ballast tank, whilst the open upper end projects beyond the top of the tank.
