Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-A sparking- plug is arranged in the path of the fuel, which is injected at or near the end of the compression stroke without spraying-air, the fuel being ignited by these moans as it is injected, without the use of a high compression ratio. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 7793/12.
