Abstract

167,547. Widdowson, W. P. May 5, 1920. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-The fuel is supplied to the injection valve b by a pump d which is regulated by an escape valve c in a continuation 9 of the delivery pipe 7. The valve c is situated beyond the injection valve to avoid the reversal of the column of liquid in the pipe. The escape valve remains closed until the required charge has passed through the injection valve.
