Roller bearings; dust &c., excluding.-An antifriction roller bearing for the axles of mine wagons &c. comprises a single roller a held in a housing h which is removably held in the usual pedestal A above the axle d. The axle does not extend to the outside of the pedestal and the housing slides in from the outside thereof; a felt or like washer e surrounds the axle at the inner side so that the axle is completely protected from dust &c. Chambers for lubricant are provided.
