Abstract

Funnels.-A funnel for preventing waste and facilitating the removal of scum from beer in casks comprises an outer receptacle 3 having an inner funnel-shaped member 1 with a spout to fit the bung hole of the cask, the member 1 extending a short distance above the bottom of the outer receptacle 3. In use, the cask is kept filled to the top of the inner funnel 1, and the scum flows over into the outer receptacle 3.
