Universal couplings.-A flexible coupling comprises a long metal tube 9, with integral resilient end flanges 18, 19, connected to coupling-discs on the shafts 1, 2 to be coupled. Additional flexible diaphragms may be inserted between the adjacent ends of the halves 15, 16, of the tube, or the halves may be of channel shape.
